TRH CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR II AND CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE VISIT RASKA

Donation to the Health Center worth over € 2,500

Belgrade, 26 October 2002 – TRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Crown Princess Katherine visited Raska today, after their visit to Brus, where they were welcomed by the Mayor, Mr. Bojan Milovanovic with his associates at the Town Hall.

Crown Prince Aleksandar II addressed the present saying:

“It has been over a year since I returned to the Fatherland with my family. I know that you had been facing many problems over the years, but I hope the issue of the future, development and democracy will find its right place in the public and political life “.

After the reception at the Town Hall, Their Royal Highnesses went to the Health Center in Raska, where they delivered their donation of an ECG machine worth over € 2,500 to the director of the Center Dr. Rados Premovic.

Princess Katherine said on the occasion that the donation is only a small part of what this Health Center needs and how she hoped it would at least help a little in the doctors’ work and treatment of the patients.

On behalf of all the doctors, the director of the Center Dr. Premovic thanked for this valuable machine and then took the guests for a round of this Center’s wards.
