THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES VISIT NOVA VAROS

Donation to the Health Center worth over € 2,500

Belgrade, 28 October 2002 – During their two days visit to Raska and Uzice regions, TRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Crown Princess Katherine visited Nova Varos yesterday, where they donated an ECG machine worth over € 2,500 to the local Health Center.

Upon arriving to Nova Varos, the Crown Prince and his wife met with the Mayor Mr. Milojko Sunjevaric and his associates.

The Crown Prince expressed his great pleasure for good ethnic and religious relationships in this municipality of mixed ethnic groups.

Talking about the current affairs in Nova Varos, situated on the Zlatar mountain, the Crown Prince said natural resources that could become a very attractive tourist destination and a golden opportunity, should have a better promotion.

TRH Crown Prince Aleksandar and Crown Princess Katherine called upon the local Health Center where they delivered the ECG machine worth about € 2,500 to the director of the Center Dr. Radojica Perisic. The machine is a part of the equipment rallied during the great humanitarian program this June.

“The smile on the faces of those who need help is our greatest award and our source of strength to move on.

Without you who do your job in a dignified and humane way despite all the difficulties that you come across, we can not succeed in this”, said Princess Katherine delivering the donation.
