THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES VISIT PRIBOJ Ambulance and operation lamp as donation to Priboj hospital Belgrade, 28 October – On the occasion of their visit to Uzice region, Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Crown Prince Katherine visited Priboj yesterday. At the meeting with the local authority representatives, headed by the Mayor Mr. Milenko Milicevic, they were informed about the situation in this small municipality and they expressed their concern because of the bad economic situation and large number of unemployed. Looking back on the bad situation in the local company “FAP”, that earlier used to do business well, the Crown Prince pointed out the need of making good business plans that will bring back the old clients and attract new investors. As one of the basic conditions for the coming of foreign investors he pointed at the political stability in the country. After visiting the Town Hall, Their Royal Highnesses called upon the General Hospital where they delivered donation of an ambulance and an operation lamp, worth € 20,500, to the director Dr. Dragan Ceranic. “We are familiar with the fact that Priboj Hospital is a part of Uzice Health Center and that it provides health care to a large number of patients. Your expertise and desire to help are our greatest strength to help you in your work”, said Princess Katherine delivering the donation. Crown Prince Aleksandar II added how he hoped the years of working in difficult circumstances without necessary medications and equipment were behind us, and that a better and healthier future was coming for all of us. |
