London, Thursday, October 28, 1999. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Aleksandar personally wrote to the political entities in the homeland to ask them to join him for a crucial conference in Budapest (12-14 November). The response to His Royal Highness's communication is extremely positive. His Royal Highness wishes to warmly thank the entities in the homeland for their confidence and tremendous response to his request. His Royal Highness wishes to stress that the objective of the meeting in Budapest is to give importance and confidence to the political entities in the homeland and to assist them in getting together to provide a strong united platform to solve maturely the hardship and problems that the citizens of Yugoslavia face. A united plan and course must be decided, established and firmly followed for today and the future. His Royal Highness seeks harmony, unity and no revenge amongst the people. The people of Yugoslavia deserve a democratic future, human rights, removal of sanctions, economic revival and reintegration into the globally community. His Royal Highness would like to remind everyone that we are fully capable and endowed with talent to move ahead. His Royal Highness appeals to all the people of Yugoslavia regardless of their political beliefs, historical background and religion to rally together behind this effort, and to put their differences aside at this critical time in our lives. |
