THE OFFICE OF HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II RESPONDS TO LETTER “ABOUT CITIZENS’ EXPENSES”

Belgrade, 25 January 2003 – Mrs. Mirjana Vlajic’s letter published in “Vecernje Novosti” on Saturday, 18 January 2003, a letter entitled “About citizens’ expenses”, the Office of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II announced that the comments and text is without any grounds, articles signed by the same name, have appeared in daily papers for some time.

As in previous cases, the claims made by Mrs. Vlajic’s letter of Saturday 18 January, do not correspond to the facts.

All expenses for the maintenance of the Royal Compound are covered solely by HRH Crown Prince Alexander II from his own private funds.
