RECEPTION FOR THE AMBASSADORS’ WIVES AT THE WHITE PALACE

Belgrade, February 6, 2003 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine hosted a reception for the wives of the Ambassadors accredited in our country today at The White Palace in Dedinje.

Among the invitees were wives of the Ambassadors of Angola, Nigeria, Australia, Argentina, India, Cyprus, Great Britain, Spain, Japan, Zimbabwe, Bulgaria, Belarus, Iran, Ukraine, Tunisia, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Denmark, Holland, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, Turkey, Peru and Pakistan.

Princess Katherine explained current situation in our country and position of socially deprived categories of our population to her guests.

The initiative was brought that the wives of the Ambassadors include the highest institutions and organizations of their countries in support of humanitarian programs and projects organized by the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, with aim to help the neediest categories of our population.
