CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE STATE UNION OF SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO MR. SVETOZAR MAROVIC

Belgrade, 8 March 2003 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II congratulated Mr. Svetozar Marovic today on taking over the duty of the first President of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro.

“I hope and I expect your term in this vital function will be the period of progress and strengthening of democratic institutions and reinforcing the bonds between Serbia and Montenegro, as well as political and economic promotion of the state union internationally.
