His Royal Highness is joined by his entire family in extending their very deepest sympathy to Mrs. Ruzica Djindjic, children and family on their painful loss.

The return of assassinations to our political and historical scene in our country is the worst possible situation one can imagine. In that respect, the victim of this crime is not only human and the political personage of the Prime Minister of Serbia Dr. Zoran Djindjic, but the whole country and all its citizens.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander has known Prime Minister Dr. Zoran Djindjic for many years and has always appreciated his energy, determination, his vision in finding solutions for difficult situations. His departure from the political scene is a great loss.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander appeals to all citizens, the members and representatives of all Government institutions and all public figures to restrain from any activities that would make the situation for our country even more difficult.
