CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW PRIME MINISTER OF SERBIA MR. ZORAN ZIVKOVIC

Belgrade, 18 March 2003 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended today his congratulations to the newly elected Prime Minister of Serbia Mr. Zoran Zivkovic.

“I extend my warmest congratulations to you and my best wishes for success in leading our country toward peace, prosperity and strengthening of democratic institutions, from the high and responsible office that you take. I expect the perpetrators of the tragic events that shocked our nation will be brought to justice. I am certain that in doing so will count on general support of all citizens who have the welfare of our country at their hearts”- emphasized Crown Prince Alexander II in his letter.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander II today also sent congratulations to the newly elected Vice President of Serbian Government Mr. Cedomir Jovanovic, expressing hope that his work in this responsible office will have special importance in strengthening democratic institutions and general progress of our country and our nation.

Congratulating the newly elected highest officials of the Serbian Government, Crown Prince Alexander II expressed his belief that they will continue the work for the benefit of all citizens of Serbia in their new duties, and pointed out his readiness to support their efforts in that direction.
