CHILDREN FROM “KING PETER II” SCHOOL AT THE ROYAL PALACE
ON GOOD FRIDAY

Belgrade, 25 April 2003 – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted today, on Good Friday, a group of children from elementary school “King Peter II”, escorted by their parents and teachers. Their Royal Highnesses have recently attended the celebration of the school’s day, when it was returned its original name “King Peter II Karadjordjevic”, on which occasion they invited the children to visit them.

The young ones were also met by HRH Prince Philip, as well as the members of Princess Katherine’s family, her son Mr. David Andrews, her daughter Mrs. Alison Garfinkel and her grandson Michael Garfinkel, for whom this was a chance to spend some time with children of his age from Belgrade.

Upon their arrival at the Palace, the guests were welcomed by HRH Crown Prince Alexander II, and then the children took a tour of this extraordinary historical building, escorted by the Palace guide.

When the children were leaving, Their Royal Highnesses wished them a happy Easter and presented each of them with an Easter egg.
