QUEEN’S DAY – THE NETHERLANDS’ NATIONAL HOLIDAY

Belgrade, 30 April 2003 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II attended the reception on the occasion of the Netherlands’ National Holiday, Queen’s Day, at the residence of HE the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Mr. Barend Van Der Heijden.

“Koninginnedag”, is cherished by the Dutch as the greatest holiday of the year, it is the official birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, and it has been celebrated as the national holiday for 51 years.

His Royal Highness extended his warmest congratulations to HE Ambassador Mr. Barend Van Der Heijden, the staff of the Dutch Embassy and the people of the Netherlands.
