CHILDREN FROM BOR AT THE ROYAL AND WHITE PALACE

Belgrade, 7 May 2003 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine received a group of children from elementary school “Vuk Karadzic” from Bor escorted by their teachers and representatives of local media at The Royal Palace today.

Their Royal Highnesses visited Bor last November and on that occasion invited the children to visit them.

Upon arrival at The Palace the guests were welcomed by TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, and on behalf of the guests they were thanked by Mladen Simeonovic, pupil of the first grade . Then the children resonantly sang the popular song “King Peter’s Guard Marched”. The Crown Prince introduced them to the history of the Palaces.

The children and their teachers spent pleasant moments in conversation with Their Royal Highnesses and than took a tour of The Royal Palace, Palace Church and The White Palace accompanied by the Palace guide.
