DENIAL OF THE OFFICE OF HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER ON THE OCCASION OF THE ARTICLE IN “SRPSKA REČ”

Belgrade, 11 June 2003 - On the occasion of the article “DS cheats the Crown Prince” printed in the magazine “SRPSKA REČ”, on 4 June 2003, His Royal Highness most energetically denies the accuracy of the published information, as well as the interpretation of the alleged conversation between His Royal Highness and the late Prime Minister Djindjic, and the current Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic.

His Royal Highness supports the freedom of the press and information, but reminds that the basic value of information is its accuracy, which in this case was obviously omitted.

“It is sad that after so many years of waiting for free media, we are being abused with lies. As a people we can’t tolerate fabrication.”
