HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II HONORARY CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD FOR MARKING THE BICENTENNIAL OF THE FIRST SERBIAN UPRISING

Belgrade, 28 June 2003 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II was appointed the Honorary Chairman of the Board for Marking the Bicentennial of the First Serbian Uprising and Modern Serbian State, as well as the host of the celebration in Orasac, announced Prime Minister Mr. Zoran Zivkovic after the constitutive session of the Board yesterday.

“I am very happy to be back in the Fatherland and I look forward to work with everybody to make the bicentennial of the Uprising a great success. We must respect our history as well as all religions and ethnic groups to achieve the future of Serbia as a modern and democratic state” – emphasized HRH Crown Prince Alexander II.
