SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO WORLD CHAMPION IN WATER POLO

Belgrade, 18 August 2003 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander extended his congratulations today to the players, coaches and management of the junior water polo team of Serbia and Montenegro on the occasion of winning the gold medal in the World Championship in Naples, Italy.

“The news of your winning the gold medal has gladdened me very much and once again assured me that our water polo is at the top level in the world. I sincerely congratulate to all the players, coaches and management of our junior water polo team on this splendid victory.

Brilliant sport results of Serbia and Montenegro’s water polo players present our country to the world in the best possible way, and are the pride and honor of all our citizens”, emphasized the Crown Prince in his letter of congratulations.
