THE FOURTH GROUP OF ORPHANS GOES ON HOLIDAY IN GREECE Belgrade, 22 August 2003 – The last, fourth group of children from the Homes for children without parental care is leaving for Greece where they will spend their holidays, thanks to Their Royal Highnesses. Total of 70 children from our country had their holidays in Greece through mediation of the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and humanitarian organization “Lifeline Hellas” whose patron is also HRH Crown Princess Katherine. They stayed in children’s camps in different towns, in several groups. This project was supported by the Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Gordana Matkovic with her associates, City Hall of Belgrade and the Mayor, Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic. The last, fourth group consists of 25 children, 20 of them coming from Belgrade, and 5 from the Home “Petar Radovanovic” from Uzice. They are going to leave from Belgrade tonight, to Lamia where they will be the guests of the Greek Orthodox Church and NGO “Solidarity Development Organization”. The Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine provided the children with new clothes, shoes and pocket money for their stay in Greece. The donors were “JAT Airlines”, Greek Embassy in Belgrade and companies “W Trade”, “A&B”, “BPM” from Belgrade, “Djordjo” from Jagodina, “Korana” from Nova Pazova and “Djukic” from Zrenjanin. |
