VISIT TO SREMSKA MITROVICA

Belgrade, 29 August 2003 – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine were in Sremska Mitrovica today where they visited the Town Hall and the Health Centre.

On behalf of the Municipality the distinguished guests were welcomed by the Mayor Mr. Zoran Boskovic and his associates. Wishing them a warm welcome and thanking for their visit Mr. Boskovic expressed his hope for the continuance of cooperation.

At the meeting in the Town Hall the issues of this year’s crops, Municipality’s plans for agriculture improvements through investments into mechanization, regional tourist potentials and investment opportunities were discussed.

On this occasion Princess Katherine announced the visit to our Diaspora in Washington, Toronto, New York and Chicago, where she will present the situation in our country and appeal for help.

After the sincere talks with the Mayor of Sremska Mitrovica. Their Royal Highnesses went to the Health Centre where the donation of the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine was delivered.
