NEW AMBULANCE FOR PROKUPLJE HEALTH CENTRE

Belgrade, 5 September, 2003 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine visited Prokuplje today. They were warmly welcomed in the Town Hall by local authorities and Mr. Veselin Koprivica, the head of local Health Centre where the donation of one ambulance car was presented later.

This donation worth more then € 7,500 is just a part of donations that Princess Katherine Foundation rallied with help of our Greek friends this March.

During the ceremony of delivery Princess Katherine spoke to the gathered doctors and nurses of the Health Centre,.

Being aware of dire situation in our health system Princess Katherine emphasized that it was responsibility of all of us to do everything in our power to make sure that all our hospitals have necessary equipment, as well as to provide everything necessary for the work of doctors and nurses.

“My husband, Crown Prince Alexander and I will, like always, be with you and do out best to help as much as possible”, Princess Katherine said wishing all the best to the gathered employees. After that, the Princess, together with her husband took a tour of the maternity ward and learned about the work of this institution.

After the visit to the Health Centre, where this valuable donation was delivered, Their Royal Highnesses continued their visit to Prokuplje by going to the local factory Hisar.
