“DAYS OF EUROPEAN HERITAGE” FOR THE SECOND
TIME Belgrade, 13 September 2003 – During the “Days of European heritage”, on 13 and 14 September, when throughout Europe citizens were allowed to visit places of extraordinary importance, TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine opened the doors of Dedinje Palaces for the general public, following the initiative from the Association of Conservators of Serbia. This program was carried out the second year in row, and in the meantime many citizens had the chance to see The Royal and The White Palace as our historical and cultural monuments, those jewels of our heritage. The citizens took a guided tour of The Royal Palace, the Palace Church, The White Palace and the park within the compound which is over 100 hectares large. During the “Days of European Heritage”, 6 groups of 50 visitors saw Dedinje Palaces, and the tour was 90 minutes long |
