THE FIRST CHINESE ASTRONAUT

Belgrade, 17 October 2003 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Aleksandar II extended his congratulations to His Excellency Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wen Xugiu on the occasion of launching the first spacecraft with human crew.

“Launching the first spacecraft with human crew is a historical and heroic event for Chinese people and the People’s Republic of China, proving that China belongs to the group of the most developed world countries.

I extend my warmest congratulations to the astronaut, Mr Yang Livei, the President of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Hu Jintao, and to the people of China, wishing them more great successful endeavours in future”, said the Crown Prince in his letter of congratulations.
