WHITE PALACE SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
 – HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE

Belgrade 14 November 2003 - Her Royal Highness Prince Katherine celebrated her official birthday in The White Palace last night. Crown Princess Katherine was joined by family members that included Their Royal Highnesses Prince Peter and Prince Philip, her daughter Alison Andrews and children, her son Mr. David Andrews and her sister and husband Mr. and Mrs Roumeliotis.

The celebration was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, political and cultural life of Belgrade and Serbia.

The guests were welcomed by HRH Crown Prince Alexander II who said he was very happy for Princess Katherine and he are surrounded with their family and friends, and wished his wife a happy birthday.

Then the present were addressed by evidently excited Princess Katherine who said:

“Ten years ago I couldn’t imagine I would celebrate my birthday here, in my home, among my people. It is a gift from God.”

Then followed a short documentary that presented activities of Her Royal Highness during the last year, as well as the work of her Foundation.

The program was performed by the “Collegium Musicum” choir, conducted by Mrs. Darinka Matic-Marovic, the actress Mrs. Rada Djuricin, “Abrasevic” dancing ensemble, and the guests were entertained by Mrs Suzana Mancic and “Triola” band.

After the dinner, the Princess blew the candles on her birthday cake, accompanied by the guests singing “Happy birthday”.
