CONGRATULATIONS TO PRESIDENT MAROVIC

Belgrade, 14 November 2003 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander II congratulated today to the President of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro Mr Svetozar Marovic on his apology to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I was very glad to hear the news of your visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and your apology to anybody who had suffered any harm or injustice from anybody from Serbia and Montenegro.

I fully support your attitude that nations must not be blamed for the crimes committed by individuals.

I congratulate you on this gesture of international reconciliation and on the courage to turn the new page in our history and relationships with our neighbors” – emphasized the Crown Prince in his letter of congratulations.
