INFANTRY TROOPS DAY

Belgrade, 16 November 2003 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to the Chief of Staff of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro on the occasion of the Infantry Troops Day.

“Please extend my wishes to all Infantry officers and soldiers to carry on performing their duties successfully, as the most numerous Army formation and carriers of combat activities on land. These troops give the greatest contribution in our country’s defense.

I hope the Infantry training centers in Pozarevac, Pirot, Zajecar, Valjevo and Pljevlja will produce new generations of trained soldiers who will be ready to continue in the best possible way the long tradition of Infantry Troops in our history” – said the Crown Prince in his letter of congratulations.
