CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW SPEAKER OF THE PARLIAMENT

Belgrade, 5 March 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II congratulated today to the newly elected Speaker of the Serbian Parliament Mr. Predrag Markovic.

“It is my pleasure to sincerely congratulate you being elected the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. The duty you have been entrusted with is of utmost importance, particularly now when our entire society urgently needs the Parliament to become the place which will be an example of democratic dialogue and working together in solving the problems that are more relevant than the interests of political parties” – emphasized the Crown Prince in his letter of congratulations.
