CONDOLENCES ON THE TERRORIST ATTACK IN MADRID

Belgrade, 11 March 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his condolences on the occasion of today’s terrorist attack in Madrid to the Spanish Ambassador HE Mr. Mariano Garcia Munoz, the Government of the Kingdom of Spain and the families of all killed and injured.

“It was with great shock that I learned about the appalling terrorist attack that took place in Madrid today. I was horrified by the death toll of this criminal act, directed not only against the citizens of Madrid, but against the whole civilized democratic world. I hope the perpetrators of this terrible crime will be brought to justice “ – said the Crown Prince in his letter of condolences.
