HUMANITARIAN AID FOR KOSOVO

Belgrade, 20. March 2004. – H.R.H. Princess Katherine’s Foundation delivered today a truckload of humanitarian aid for the endangered citizens and children in Kosovo.

Humanitarian aid, delivered by The Foundation, consists of hygienic packages for children and new born babies. The aid also includes pillows and blankets, that will be of use to the families who had to leave their homes, and are now in the improvised camps.

The value of the aid is five thousand euros. In this way, H.R.H. Princess Katherine’s Foundation joins the national campaign and convoy of humanitarian aid that is organized through the Centre of Children’s Care. The Convoy with the humanitarian aid will leave today, at 4 p.m. in front of the Sava Centre. The trucks of Red Cross will take it to Kosovo.

This is just a beginning of wider action for help to the citizens of Kosovo, and The Foundation will continue to provided to the ones most needed.
