HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II AT ADA CIGANLIJA

Belgrade 3 April 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II accompanied by the member of The Crown Council Prof dr Dragoljub Kavran attended the annual assembly of “Crvena Zvezda” Rowing Club during his stay in Ada Ciganlija today. The Crown Prince was introduce to the results and future plans of the Club.

After visiting the Rowing Club The Crown Prince went to the Belgrade Royal Rugby Club field where he opened the first Tag Rugby Future Festival for the children from 12 – 14, by taking the first kick at 12:00 noon sharp.

Ower 150 young ones form Belgrade Elementary Schools took part at this Tournament organized by the Belgrade Royal Rugby Club under patronage of The Crown Prince, and it is the organizers’ wish to introduce rugby as a sport to elementary and secondary schools.

Continuing his stay in Ada Ciganlija HRH Crown Prince Alexander II visited The Royal Yachting Club.
