CHILDREN FROM “PETAR DRAPSIN” ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FROM TURIJA VISIT THE ROYAL PALACE

Belgrade, 16 April 2004 – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine received the pupils and the teachers from “Petar Drapsin” elementary school from Turija at The Royal Palace today.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander II welcomed the headmaster of the school Mrs. Branislava Zeremski, the pupils and teachers, saying that the young are our future.

In a conversation with the children, The Princess asked about the school’s needs in equipment for information technology, physics and chemistry cabinets.

The pupils gave Their Royal Highnesses presents and invited them to visit their home town and their school. The headmaster, Mrs. Zeremski, thanked The Crown Prince and The Crown Princess for their hospitality and presented them with the photo album of the school.

After the reception, the pupils and teachers of the school took a tour of The Royal and The White Palace escorted by the Palace guide, and learned about the history of The Royal Compound.
