COMMEMORATION TO THE HOLOCAUST VICTIMS

Belgrade, 16 April 2004 - TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine received the Rabi of Serbia and Montenegro Mr. Isak Asijel, the President of the Jewish Municipality of Subotica Mrs. Mira Poljakovic and the representatives of the Jewish community of Subotica.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander II welcomed the guests and in a short address said:

“Today when we remember the victims of the Holocaust I emphasize I am against any violence and I appeal to everyone to live together respecting each other. We should work together so that our children have a better future.”

After the commemoration the present lit the candles as a memento of the Holocaust victims and then took a tour of The Royal and The White Palace escorted by the Palace guide.
