New beds for “Drinka
Pavlovic”
24 specially made beds Belgrade, 21 April 2004 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine visited today at noon the Home for the children without parental care “Drinka Pavlovic”, where she delivered a donation of 24 specially made new beds, through mediation of the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and with a help from the friends from Great Britain. This donation was made possible thanks to the general manager of the “Schroder’s” company, Mr. Bruno Schroder, Miss Alexandra Walker and the employees of this company’s London office. “For the sweetest dreams, my husband and I wish you all the best, straight from our hearts”, said the Princess, telling the children how it is most important for them to study and to learn to help the others. During the visit to this Home, HRH Crown Princess Katherine took a tour of the children’s rooms with the new beds, and gave the children toys and candies. “Drinka Pavlovic” is an orphanage working as a part of the Centre for the children without parental care in Belgrade, and its protégées are the children with special needs for whom the beds were specially made. The Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine wholeheartedly and continuously supports the most endangered categories of our population, above all the young. Orphanages and the children without parental care have a special place in HRH Crown Princess’s heart. |
