GERMAN WORLD BANK FORUM FOCUS IN SOUTH EAST EUROPE

Munich 12 May 2003. Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine addressees the German World Bank Forum panel on Human Development and Social Cohesion. Princess Katherine discussed Human and social development challenges in Serbia.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander accompanied Princess Katherine met with Mr. James D. Wolfensohn, President of The World Bank.

The German World Bank Forum was a unique encounter of some 500 leading personalities and decision-makers from the realms of government, business, academia, the media and civil society, the Forum seeked to raise and sustain interest in development issues across multiple constituencies in Germany. In their discussions the participants jointly assessed the challenges of development in light of a specific perspective on economic trends and regional prospects. Hosted by the Government of Bavaria and the Bavarian Industry Association vbw, the World Bank Forum 2004 focused on “Responsible Growth in South East Europe”.
