HIS MAJESTY KING ABDULLAH II OF JORDAN INVITES THEIR ROYAL
HIGHNESSES
Belgrade, 26 May 2004 - Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Prince Alexander arrived in Amman Jordan Tuesday as guests of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan for the wedding celebrations of HRH Crown Prince Hamzah and Princess Noor Bint Asem Ben Nayef. Crown Prince Hamzah is the son of His Majesty King Hussein and Her Majesty Queen Noor. The wedding ceremony took place 2 September 2003 and now the wedding celebrations will take place. The celebrations will include a reception a The Zahran Palace in Amman on 27 May and a dinner at The Aqaba Palace on 28 May. Followed by an organized trip for the guests of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Petra and the Dead Sea Crown Prince Hamzah became the heir to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan throne in 1999, when HM King Abdullah II officially named Prince Hamzah as his successor after their father His Majesty King Hussein’s death. His Majesty King Hussein (the father of King Abdullah II) was a close friend since the youth of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander. Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine, Prince Peter, Prince Phlip and Prince Alexander have been guests of His Majesty King Hussein on many occasions. Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended the Danish Royal wedding in Copenhagen 20 – 21 May and then went to San Francisco with HRH Prince Peter to be present at the graduation of HRH Prince Alexander. HRH Prince Philip represented Crown Prince Alexander, Crown Princess Katherine, Prince Peter and Prince Alexander at the Spanish Royal Wedding in Madrid 21 – 22 May.
