CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW CHANCELLOR OF BELGRADE UNIVERSITY

Belgrade, 2 Jun 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II has congratulated to the newly appointed Chancellor of the University of Belgrade, Prof. Dr. Dejan Popovic:

“In the time when great tasks of reforms of our high education are ahead of us, the position of the Chancellor of the University of Belgrade, as the largest and most important in our country, is a challenge and a huge responsibility.

I wish you success in your mandate, and you can always count on my support in creating better education conditions for our young people, who are the future of our entire society” – emphasized the Crown Prince in his letter of congratulations.

The Crown Prince has also sent a letter to Prof. Dr. Marija Bogdanovic, expressing his appreciation and gratitude for everything she did during her mandate as the Chancellor of Belgrade University.
