SECOND GROUP OF CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTAL CARE IN SUMMER CAMPS IN GREECE, WITH THE HELP OF THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES

Belgrade, July 10th, 2004. – HRH Crown Prince Alexander and HRH Crown Princess Katherine through The Foundation of HRH Princess Katherine and humanitarian organization ‘’Lifeline Hellas’’ whose patron is Princes Katherine, made it possible for over 50 children from homes for children without parental care from all over Serbia, to spend their summer holiday in Greece.

The second group of children from home in Uzice left for Greece today. HRH Crown Prince Alexander and HRH Crown Princess Katherine wished these children safe trip today after the shrot reception at The Royal Palace at Dedinje. The children will spend 10 days in the international camp Kritonou in Kefalonia.

The Foundation of HRH Princess Katherine made the effort to provide the children with the food and clothes supplies. This project was helped by The Ministry for Labour and Social Policies of The Republic of Serbia, Humanitarian organization ‘’Lifeline Hellas’’ through their donators and The Foundation of HRH Princess Katherine. Mr Branko Radovanovic from The Ministry for Labour and Social Policies was also present today at Dedinje.

‘’All of us in Serbia must cultivate love and respect for each other and we are here to give love and help’’ - HRH Princess Katherine pointed out on this occasion.

This action is continuation of the project started last year, when over 100 children from homes for children without parental care was sent to holiday in Greece in organization of The Foundation of HRH Princess Katherine and Humanitarian organization ‘’Lifeline Hellas’’ under the patronage of princess Katherine. This year, as well as the last one , the children will be accommodated in the international camps in Greece.
