ONE MILLION DOLLARS WORTH MEDICAL EQUIPMENT ARRIVES IN BELGRADE THROUGH MEDIATION OF THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES

Belgrade, 16 July, 2004. – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine in cooperation with the Indianapolis humanitarian organization “Ambassadors for Children”, have provided a million US dollars worth shipment of medical equipment and supplies. The shipment arrived in Belgrade today, as a donation from the “Riverview” hospital in Noblesville, near Indianapolis.

The donation is an outcome of the visit to Indianapolis by the delegation of doctors from the Belgrade University School of Medicine and the representatives of the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine last January. Our delegation visited the Indianapolis School of Medicine and other hospitals, and officially established cooperation in expert training of our doctors in the United States. The delegation had also had a chance to see the “Riverview” hospital equipment that arrived in Belgrade today. All equipment will be distributed to our hospitals.
