HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II PATRON OF THE BELGRADE ART FESTIVAL

Belgrade, 24 August 2004 – Under patronage of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and organized by the “New Moment” agency, the Belgrade Art Festival is going to be opened at the reception at The Royal Palace on 2 September.

On that occasion a press conference was organized today at the “New Moment” gallery, with participation of the agency’s owner Mr. Dragan Sakan, Mr. Slobodan Masic, the Chairman of the Art Directors of Serbia Club, Mr. Tom Farrell, the PR manager of US Steel, Mr. Dragomir Acovic, the member of the Crown Council and Mrs. Zorica Salijevic, PR department of the Office of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II.

The journalists were introduced to the festival’s program, participants and various additional activities that will take place from 2 to 30 September, as a gift to creative Serbia. Mr. Dragomir Acovic, on behalf of The Royal House of Karadjordjevic reminded about the efforts The Royal Family is putting into encouraging the young to continue their education, as well as to apply their knowledge to the benefit of all citizens of our country. He also reminded that HM Queen Maria was a brilliant sculptor, and that HRH Hereditary Prince Peter is into graphic design.

The PR department of the Office of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II will forward the journalists all the announcements of the forthcoming events in which Their Royal Highnesses will take part, and releases that will enable them to cover this important cultural event.
