THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES VISIT PALE

Belgrade, 30 August 2004 – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine visited Pale today, on the third day of their visit to Republika Srpska.

The Royal Couple first visited the Health Center where they delivered a “Yugo Florida” ambulance. They were warmly welcomed by the general manager, Dr. Mira Trivkovic, who introduced the dear guests to the plans and problems of this health institution. Then the present were addressed by HRH Crown Princess Katherine:

“I am happy and honored to meet the fighters for human lives, who have not given up the struggle all these years. The front line is here, for the greatest battles take place in hospitals. Struggles for human lives. Courage, will, energy and expertise are the most powerful weapon, and you have it all. Everything else is support. I hope the support from Karadjordjevic family will contribute for you to become an admirable health institution” – pointed out the Crown Princess in her speech.

After the visit to the Health Center, Their Royal Highnesses laid a wreath at the monument to the perished from this region during the last war, paying respect to all who lost their lives regardless of their ethnic or religious origin.

Beside Their Royal Highnesses and the member of the Crown Council Prof. Dr. Dragoljub Kavran, laying of the wreath was attended by the Mayor of Serbian Sarajevo Mr. Milivoj Gutelj, the Head of Pale Municipality Mr. Goran Kosoric, the President of the town’s Assembly Mr. Dragomir Kosoric, the general manager of the Health Center Pale Dr. Mira Trivkovic and many citizens of Pale municipality.

On their way back to Belgrade, TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine will also visit Sokolac and Han Pijesak.
