MOUNTAINEERS AT THE ROYAL PALACE

Belgrade, 31 August 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II received a delegation of the Mountaineering Association of Vojvodina at the Royal Palace today, made up of Mr. Miodrag Jovovic, Mr. Milivoj Erdeljan and Mr. Goran Ferlan.

Our mountaineers are getting ready for the expedition to the Tibetan peak Shisha Pangma, which is 8,012 meters high.

Wishing them luck, HRH Crown Prince Alexander II also expressed his pleasure and pride for Serbian mountaineers are taking such courageous and important endeavor.

“This is great news for Serbia and a very positive step in presenting our country to the world” – emphasized the Crown Prince.
